WHAT IS FINAL BOUT?
Final Bout is an event that works to rekindle the excitement most long-time drift fans felt when they first discovered drifting in the 90s and early 2000s. We aim to organize grass roots level drivers into stronger, more connected organizations, inevitably helping every aspect of the sport of drifting as a result. While professional drifting in the US does have value to the drift community, it has ultimately moved away from the roots of drifting with progressively higher budgets, race engineers, and cars that relate less and less to the average amateur level drift driver.
Professional drifting in America is still an excellent spectacle, but anyone truly connected at the ground level of the drift community will note that the general audience has trouble connecting with the high budget cars and high level of competition of the sport.
